"other way holiday" is Czech family travel company, tour operator, travel agency and much more, specialized for tailor-made holidays for Czech and Slovakian Market, with second home and stable background in Maldives.
Founder & Owner of "other way holiday"
The founder and owner of the company, general manager, sales and marketing specialist, business advisor, travel designer, storyteller, photographer and website designer, just all in one is me, Lucie Mohelnikova. I personally visited 191 islands of Maldives and have been snorkeling about the higher number of the coral reefs at most of the atolls of Maldives till now. Thanks to my great knowledges of Maldives, I have been appointed as vice-consul at Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Maldives in Prague in Czech Republic from February until July 2021. Selected Destinations by "other way holiday"
On the beginning, in 2012, was in our portfolio only Maldives, which are our second home forever. Later, in 2014, we start combine Maldives with Sri Lanka and with stopovers at Doha in Qatar, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai in United Arab Emirates. In 2022 were added to our portfolio another “Pearls of Indian Ocean”, Seychelles, Zanzibar and Mauritius. In 2024 were added French Polynesia, Oman, Thailand, Italy, Mediterranean and Europe. Our selected destinations are exclusively offered only to our repeater clients which are regularly traveling with us to Maldives.

"amazing luxury" collections "the islands collection" followed by reviews and stories "the islands stories", "amazing luxury holiday(s)", "amazing luxury escape(s)", "amazing luxury hideaway(s)" followed by reviews and stories "amazing escapes stories" were born in my mind very long time ago but officially in the spring of 2024. The "amazing luxury" collections were created individually and are available exclusively to our repeat clients who travel with us regularly to the Maldives. "amazing luxury" collections offer carefully selected and hand-picked portfolio of 4*, 5*, 5* luxury and 5* high-end resorts, hotels, villas, suites, residences, chalets, castles, private islands and other types of properties. My selections in Maldives and other destinations are based on my own personal experiences and extensive research.

Our clients are mainly Czech and Slovakian Nationality or time to time other European, Arabian and Asian Nationalities living in Czech Republic or in Slovakia. We prepared made tailor-made holiday for many travellers including VIP's, former Czech first lady, actors, singers, journalists, stand-up comedy actors, TV crews, models, and athletes. Touch of Maldives by "other way holiday"
Part of "other way holiday" is destination marketing and special presentations under the brand name "Touch of Maldives" in Czech Republic and Slovakia. We cooperated on many projects with different media a magazines, TV's, with filmmakers and participated on charity projects. Time to time I write articles about Maldives for czech and slovakian media.
One of our projects, documentary film about Maldives "Escape to Maldives", which was filmed by filmmaker’s duo "Escape to Nature", was supported by Tourism Ministry and MMPRC (Visit Maldives) - marketing board of Maldives. The documentary film premiere was broadcast in New York and won many film awards in the World.
2 months in the end of 2019 and beginning of 2020 were installed selection of my photos from Maldives at famous cafe in the center of Prague in Czech Republic. After the installation were photos permanently moved to famous office building in the center of the Prague.
